Together with my friend Robert Aronson, we have realized that Croatia still lacks several web directories that would enable travelers easier access to relevant and updated information. So, this past summer we started developing a concept of The Croatia Travel Network with our first site being The Hotels of Split.

The concept is straightforward: listing of all the hotels in Split area with inclusion of the hotels in Solin, Podstrana and Dugopolje as the new “gate of Split”. Each hotel pays for their listing and each can provide a specific Special Offer that can be updated without any limitations all year round.
We do not list apartments but only hotels and some B&Bs but even with that, fairly small number of 28 hotels, web site took several months to complete.

Now we are promoting it as it is the ONLY site listing only the hotels in Split metro area and with the possibility of booking direct with the hotel!

One of the best parts of this project was that we got to see ALL hotels in Split which will be very helpful in the future with our Secret Dalmatia guests.

The only “ads” on the site are currently ours but this is still the testing phase.
