The spring is finally here!
Everything is in bloom and the weather is gorgeous.
Here are two images from our recent walks. Both represent the awakening!
After the almonds have already gotten the green leaves, the peaches are showing their pink flowers! This is the one in my mother’s garden.

Another one is not something most people enjoy but I like very much! I like all sort of animals, bugs and spiders and this is my favorite spider: tarantula. It lives in small, round holes on the plains of Dalmatia. There is a tiny bit of sticky net around the opening and that is where the pray catches. These little beauties are very colorful!
Unlike the black widow spider, tarantulas are very shy and this guy kept running back in his hole. There was an old custom of dragging them out that my mom taught me. While she was guarding the sheep in her village, the kids were sticking a flower or grass stem into a hole and wait for spider to bite.
