One of the most beautiful wedding locations in Croatia is, without any doubt, Sustipan park on Split. With the remains of an ancient monastery and a spectacular location overlooking the Adriatic, this is a perfect place for small and romantic weddings.

It was last September that we were invited to my wife’s childhood friend Sanja’s wedding. Although I don’t really like weddings, this was a must since I HAD to go and I was quite interested in seeing the ceremony on this place.

The ceremony was lovely. Traditional.

There is something special about weddings in September: the calm evenings, the lovely scent of dying summer but still with that feeling of easy, summer living in the air…

The dinner was served in the nearby Grašo restaurant – probably the most beautiful location for a restaurant in Croatia – on the cliff above the Adriatic overlooking Brač island and Split skyline.

Sustipan is without doubt one of top 5 wedding destinations in Croatia. Perfect for small groups but can be arranged for a very luxurious wedding as well.
